Build Introduction
This build is all about watching the world burn! Your Skeletal Arsonists attack through walls of burning fire to decimate your foes. All while your faithful burning doggo trots around making them take more damage and just being the best boy.
Strengths and Weaknesses
- Automated play
- High single target
- Low gear requirements
- Very tanky once block acquired
- Visual clutter
- B tier map clear
- Doors will fight you
- Min-max gear can be expensive
Build Mechanics
We use our spirit to summon an army of minions that will fight with us, in PoE 2 most minions reserve spirit and are resurrected a short time after they die. With this setup we have Skeletal Arsonists that are our primary damage dealer as well as Skeletal Clerics that help keep them healthy and revive them. We also have our Summoned Infernal Hound to make enemies weaker and you will cast flame wall which also summons Raging Spirits.
Skill Rotation
Follow the quick skill rotation below to progress through the campaign and clear groups of enemies in maps.
- Cast Flame Wall to summon your Raging Spirits.
- Cast Flammability on strong mobs and bosses.
Execute the steps below to optimize damage against bosses.
- Cast Flame Wall between your minions and the boss as much as possible.
- Keep the Flammability debuff up on the boss.
- Keep the Pain Offering buff up against strong mobs and bosses.
Gameplay Tips
Your Arsonists get added fire damage when they attack through your Flame walls.
After a recent patch they’ve made it so minions will teleport to you if you get to far away from them rather than them dying, this can be used if they get stuck.

Skill and Support Gems
Your Arsonists do the heavy lifting, but you will need to support them with Flame Walls and your Curse to make them really blast off.
Minion priority order:
- Arsonists to up to 5.
- Add 1 cleric.
- Use the remainder of your spirit to add more arsonists.
- Once you get to around 10 of them you can add another cleric to help keep them topped off.
The following Support Gems are listed in order of socket priority for each Skill.

Spirit Gems
The Spirit Gem setup requires as much Spirit as you can get. Completing The King in the Mists in Act 1 and Ignagduk, the Bog Witch in Act 3 (Normal and Cruel difficulty) in the campaign rewards 100 base Spirit. You can get more Spirit from your Sceptre, Body Armor and/or Amulet.

Ascendancy
Infernalist is the recommended Ascendancy for the Lightning Warp Conduit Sorceress. You can select your first Ascendancy at the end of Act II. The trial is not difficult, so complete it within the level range of 20-30. During the early access of Path of Exile 2, you have the option between Infernalist and Bloodmage. This choice is permanent so choose carefully!
Infernalist
Loyal Hellhound: Best doggo, really helps with debuffing enemies and your defenses.
Altered Flesh: Converts some of the taken damage to fire or chaos.
Beidat’s Will: +1 maximum spirit per 25 maximum life at the cost of reserving 25% of your life.
Beidat’s Hand: +1 maximum energy shield per 8 maximum life at the cost of reserving 25% of your life.
The extra spirit gives us more minions and we end up with a good amount of energy shield to still be quite tanky.
Passive Skill Tree, PoB and Venom Draughts
