PoE2: Dawn of the Hunt Launch Time and New League Details

Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt launches April 4 at 12pm PDT. Here is how to join a fresh league and what happens to your old characters.

Grinding Gear Games has recently confirmed the global launch time for Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt: The big new content update goes live on April 4 at 12 pm PDT, which is 9:00 PM GMT+2 for European players.

The expansion launches across all supported platforms, including the standalone PC client, Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.

Fresh Economy League & Character Progress

If you are looking to start anew with the upcoming balance changes and systems, GGG is launching fresh economy leagues. These give players a clean start without existing item inflation and are highly recommended!

To join one, simply choose the “Dawn of the Hunt” league banner when creating your character.

GGG also clarified that existing characters and progress will not be wiped, but your Passive Tree might be reset, and your build may feel different due to balance changes.

Even if you stick with your current characters, all Dawn of the Hunt content will be available in existing leagues, which means no exclusive mechanics are locked behind league-only modes!

And for PC players: a torrent file for the standalone PC client will be available the day before launch, so you can have the game ready ahead of time.
