PoE2’s Logo Is a Corrupted Mirror of Kalandra
Once again, we got a pretty interesting find that a player has shared with the PoE2 community over on Reddit, pointing out something that most players never noticed: The Path of Exile 2 logo is a corrupted version of the Mirror of Kalandra.
At first glance, it is rather subtle. But once you compare the two logos with the Mirror of Kalandra, it becomes quite obvious.
The oval frame, markings, and central shape match the mirror’s design:

If you want, you can also check the full comparison here on Reddit:
It comes as no surprise that the post immediately caused reactions like:
- “They krangled it.”
- “PoE2 confirmed to be vaaled PoE.”
- “They corrupted PoE1 so we can’t craft anymore.”
It is one of those rare visual details that seems too deliberate to be a coincidence.
It Actually Fits the Story and Theme
Path of Exile 2 has been all about time loops, broken versions of the world, and hints that the player might be more than just some random Exile. So, having the logo literally be a corrupted Mirror of Kalandra kind of fits perfectly.

Kalandra already plays with the idea of reflections and twisted reality, and the sequel’s story is full of those same ideas, so this detail might not be just a fun visual throwback. A few players are even wondering if we will meet her again in the campaign (once future Acts become available) or face a corrupted version of ourselves down the line.
Within the Reddit thread, one user wrote: “PoE2 is a mirrored version of the world in PoE1 before it gets destroyed by the atlas. Trust.”
Well, now… if that kind of speculation does not get you excited, then I do not know what will.
