It’s finally that time of the year when we can enjoy Path of Exile 2 and we are super excited!
When can we expect a PoE Vault 2 site?
Due to the fact that The Vault did not gain early access to Path of Exile 2 until last week, there was no feasible way to begin building our infrastructure to support the game. With the public release of the PoE 2 early access, the Icy Veins staff is now working hard to support the game on a new site. Our guides will still be viewable on the poe-vault domain, however they will be supported through the same backend that was used to create our Diablo 4 section. This means we will be able to produce higher quality guides and develop the tools necessary to create easy-to-read guides with overall better performance on the site. Eventually, PoE 1 will also be moved over to the same system and receive the same support as PoE 2.
What’s the ETA on the new PoE site?
We are working hard on getting the site ready and will start posting News and General Guides soon for you to have a starting point in your Path of Exile journey.
When can we expect the build guides?
As mentioned above we did not get early access or press review so all our writers (with some exceptions that got to play once in LA) have not seen the full potential of the game either. This means they need to play several classes and find out the best ways for you to level and build your character for the end game. On top of that, we also need to start data mining for tool tips, items, skill gems etc to be able to use them in our site. PoE 2 for us is not a sprint but a marathon.
New Writers
We would like to welcome two new writers for Path of Exile 2! MrLlamaSC, who you may know from his Diablo 2 guides, and EMP1241 who is currently a writer for our Last Epoch section, will both be joining the writing team for The Vault.
