Passive Skill Tree

Click here for the end-game Passive Skill Tree or check out the PoB.

Surplus points should be used to fill out Large Cluster Jewels in each of the three Large Jewel Sockets that have been taken. Look for Overlord, Devastator, Weight Advantage, Drive the Destruction, Fuel the Fight, and Martial Prowess. You will not have enough remaining skill points to get three notables on every Cluster Jewel, so it is fine to have a superfluous notable on each Jewel that you don’t talent in to. Each Cluster Jewel should have two Jewel sockets that we will place standard jewels into. You should try to get one of each notable for their unique benefits, then stack Weight Advantage for damage with remaining notables.

Cluster Jewel

Important notes regarding the Passive Skill Tree:

  • Iron Grip and Point Blank and incredibly important and should be acquired as soon as possible, as both have enormous influence on the DPS of Molten Strike Molten Strike.
  • If you do not have a Cluster Jewel with Fuel the Fight, be sure to put a single point into the Life and Mana Leech node that leads towards Vitality Point, or you will encounter Mana issues.
  • If you do not have Cluster Jewels yet but are deep into the endgame you should put surplus points towards the Constitution wheel.
  • Before you have Xoph's Blood Xoph's Blood you can path upwards from the fork near Elemental Overload — three point investment — to reach Avatar of Fire.
  • Leave Jewel sockets (excluding Large Jewel sockets for Cluster Jewels) for last, or until you can afford top-tier regular Jewels.

  • Furty has taken over the build. Complete overhaul from the ground up; considerable improvements to damage and defense. 3.12-ready.

  • Revisited and updated for Harvest 3.11. The build lost some power due to nerf to dual wield but this is easily mitigated by the addition of strong Warcries.

  • Revisited and updated for Delirium 3.10. The build remains a very solid choice for those who like the more durable characters.

  • Revisited and updated for Metamorph 3.9. The build gets a slight buff via changes to Molten Strike and a nerf via changes to Point Blank. Overall it is still a very solid build.

  • Revisited and updated for Blight 3.8. It is worth mentioning that the build has extreme damage potential and is one of the tankiest in the game, but it might feel clumsy to some due to the fact it does not reach vast amounts of attack speed like other builds do.

  • Revisited the whole build guide and updated Passive trees and Gem sections for Legion 3.7.

  • Updated passive trees.

  • Revisited and updated for Synthesis 3.6.
