New PS4 Player.

Hello all. I Love this game !!! I came from D3 and don’t think I’ll ever go back. The question I have is are there guilds or anything like that in the POE community? This game is so incredible for players like me who actually want to think about the game as we play the game. I wasted about a month playing my first character (ranger) because I didn’t do my homework. I run a Bane/Soulrend Trickster now and I’m at T9 maps. I have watched a lot of YouTube of BullShifter and he’s helped a lot but it would be great to be in a group of players with years of experience so that newer players could glean the info of finer parts of POE. I am 48yrs old and this game makes me feel like I did with first gen Nintendo. Thanks for listening.

EDIT: I just reread your message and realized you’re on PlayStation! I’m really sorry for the mix up; unfortunately, Grinding Gear Games haven’t yet added support for guilds on neither Xbox, nor PlayStation. It’s in the works, but we don’t have any ETA on this particular functionality :/

You’ve already managed to do quite a bit on your own, that’s really awesome! Don’t think of those hours spent on your ranger as wasted at all; Path of Exile is a very complex game, so the more time invested in learning its intricacies – the better.

Guilds are definitely a thing. You can check out the official Path of Exile guild directory over at the game’s forums, where guild leaders can submit information about their guild, e.g. interests, requirements, number of members, etc.

Another option would be to check out the latest topics over here – each topic is a separate guild listing. The same guilds are also listed in the directory link from above, but here you can see which guilds are gathering more interest, and it’s a bit easier to see what people they’re looking for just from the thread title.

Not sure I fully understand your question, but if you have a “Adds # to # Physical Damage” this is a local mod, meaning this damage is only applied to Attacks with this particular weapon. If you have any further questions feel free to PM me and I’ll try to help you however I can.
